Dani is an Alpha, a neuro-dominant human, and her ability is known as 'empathetic contagion'. Her particular ability manifests in a few different ways. Danielle absorbs emotions and feeling from the people around her. Without touch, only negative emotions get through. When she activates her power, she can both absorb emotion/feeling from someone she's touching or cause them to feel anything she's felt in her life - she simply has to summon up the emotion and send it. It's possible for her to use this to completely overwhelm anything else her target is feeling - even physical pain. She's shown in canon using her ability in lieu of morphine, to ease the pain of a terminal cancer patient.

If she's touching two people at once, she acts as a conduit, and is able to allow each person to feel what the other is feeling.

It's nothing that is ever used on another character without talking to the mun beforehand!
